About UDRA
An established recovery partner built on discipline and discretion
UDRA (Universal Debt Recovery Agency) recovers outstanding commercial and consumer receivables for banks, lenders, corporates, institutions and businesses — professionally, lawfully and with complete transparency to our clients.
Who we are
A specialist agency, not a general outsourcing provider
UDRA exists for one purpose: to recover receivables that organisations have been unable to collect internally, and to do so in a way that withstands legal, regulatory and reputational scrutiny.
Our teams handle commercial trade balances, consumer arrears portfolios, cross-border exposures and complex traced files. Each mandate is managed by named personnel working to a strategy agreed with the client before any debtor contact takes place.
We operate from Pakistan with regional coordination in the United Arab Emirates and a North America desk in the United States, supported by vetted recovery and legal partners in further international markets.

Our story
Built in response to a gap in the market
Organisations across our markets had two options: chase balances internally with stretched credit teams, or place them with agencies whose methods created as much risk as they resolved.
Founded on documentation
UDRA was established around a simple conviction: recovery succeeds when the file is accurate, complete and defensible before contact begins.
Grown through capability
A trained contact operation, tracing capability and coordinated legal network were built deliberately rather than assembled ad hoc.
Extended internationally
Client demand for cross-border recovery led to vetted partner coverage in the UAE, the USA and further international jurisdictions.
Our vision
To be recognised across our markets as the recovery partner institutions turn to when a matter is sensitive, complex or cross-border — measured by the transparency of our process as much as by the value we recover.

Our approach
Resolution first. Escalation only when it is justified.
The majority of balances are resolved through structured, professional engagement rather than proceedings. Our approach prioritises negotiated resolution, reserving legal escalation for matters where the documentation, quantum and debtor position genuinely warrant it.
- Assess and verify before contacting anyone
- Agree tone, latitude and escalation limits with the client in writing
- Engage the debtor professionally through documented channels
- Negotiate outcomes the debtor can realistically sustain
- Escalate only where evidence and economics support it
- Report honestly, including where recovery is unlikely
Ethical recovery principles
The standards that govern every file
Lawfulness
Every action is taken within the law of the relevant jurisdiction and within the authority granted by the client.
Respect
Debtors are addressed courteously and without threat, intimidation or misleading statements, without exception.
Confidentiality
Client and debtor information is restricted to assigned personnel and handled under strict retention controls.
Accountability
Every contact is recorded, every figure reconciled, and client audit rights are available at any time.
Experience & expertise
Practitioners from credit, collections, legal and finance
Our people come from banking credit functions, collections operations, legal practice and corporate finance. That combination allows a file to be assessed commercially, operationally and legally at the same time.
Case management
Named handlers accountable for progress, documentation and client communication.
Contact operations
Trained, monitored recovery agents working to approved scripts and conduct standards.
Investigation
Tracing and verification specialists establishing current debtor circumstances lawfully.

Core values
Why clients continue to trust UDRA
Trust in this industry is earned through consistency: the same standards applied to a single invoice as to a portfolio of thousands.
Integrity
We report the position as it is, including when a balance is unlikely to be recovered.
Discretion
Sensitive matters are handled quietly, by named personnel, with restricted access.
Diligence
Files are worked methodically rather than pursued in bursts and then abandoned.
Fairness
Debtors are treated as counterparties in a commercial matter, never as adversaries.
Transparency
Clients see the activity, the outcomes and the reconciliation behind every figure.
Accountability
Named ownership at case level and audit rights at mandate level.
